Students In School
We very much appreciate the efforts being made to ensure that your children stay at home unless it is absolutely essential. Following the most recent Government announcement numbers in school on Tuesday fell. The school remains open for children of ‘Critical Workers’ and the ‘Vulnerable’. For those students who are in school we will continue to provide a safe, calm and welcoming environment. We do ask that students continue to bring a ‘pack up’ as we do not have any catering facilities within school.
Correspondence will be going home today to Year 11 students outlining the current position regarding GCSE examinations.
We are aware that parents of students in Years 7-10 want students to be able to keep busy and complete the work set by their teachers. Please do keep letting us know of any issues and we will remedy them as soon as we can.. We really appreciate how parents and students are working with us as we all seek to settle effective and productive methods of ensuring that students can access appropriate work. We have put together a few helpful guides for parents who may not be familiar with Google Drive/Classroom here.
We continue to work with families who do not have access to a computer at home. As we explained last week we do have a small number of Chrome books that we will be able to lend to our students until they return to school. This will based on:
• Individual need
• Year group (starting with Year 10)
